Art al Parc

ENGLISH: 
Vallparadis park will be the center stage of the Art al Parc first edition, a multicultural event sponsored by the Ajuntamento of Terrassa to be held during the months of August, September and October. Several national and international artists were invited to, during the event, intervene in the public space of the park, and every artist or art collective will be assigned a fortnight for the purpose. 
The event promotes interdisciplinary encounters of urban intervention, street art, site specific, performance art and video featuring a selection of works, which can be found all over the park, and reveal the close look at today's society and particularly to issues of public space and citizenship.
Rather than providing the visitor with the rediscovery of the park, this event will be a point of approach of the artist to the passer-by, a break in the routine and experience of public spaces, a confrontation with the everyday life of the common place, promoting the encounter, communication and sharing of ART.

Vallparadís serà la plataforma central de „l’Art al Parc primera edició“, un espectacle multicultural patrocinat per l’ajuntament de Terrassa que es celebrarà durant els mesos agost, septembre i octubre. Diversos artistes, tant nacionals com internacionals han estat convidats a intervenir durant l’espectacle a l’espai públic del parc, i a cada artista o col•lectiu artístic els seran assignats quinze dies per a la seva actuació.
L’espectacle promou trobades interdisciplinàries d’intervencions urbanes, „street art“, „site specific“, „performance art“ i „video“ amb una selecció de treballs, que es podran veure per tot el parc, i mostraran una visualització enfocada a la societat d’avui dia i, en particular, temes d’espai públic i ciutadania.
Més que proporcionar al visitant un redescobriment del parc, aquest espectacle serà un punt d’aproximació dels artistes al vianant, un trencament de la rutina i una experiència amb espai públic, en front de l’espai laboral del dia a dia, promovent la trobada, la comunicació i compartint ART.
